So many things have changed in the last time I posted (which was over 7 months ago...shame shame). So much change! Ryan isn't working at the marina any longer. We moved out of the marina. Oh and... WE GOT MARRIED

It was a small ceremony with his mom, step-dad, my parents, my sister and brother-in-law and his grandparents. That's it! Down at the gazebo at Yorktown Beach. Short sweet and to the point on a Thursday evening. We all went out to eat to Ryan and I's favorite restaurant, Bayhaven. October 3rd is our 4th anniversary as a couple so it seamed fitting. He proposed on September 22nd and we didn't see any reason to plan a big event - so we did it.
A few things to this
It is completely weird wearing a ring again.
It is completely weird that I am someones wife again
It is completely weird that I am not a Steele any more even though it's my ex-husband's name. I should have changed it after we got divorced officially but just such a hassle to change it all back.
And last but not least.....drum roll please....
WE STARTED OUR OWN BUSINESS!!
We haven't really gotten it off the ground yet and Ryan has had a few decent sized jobs. We are super scared but extremely excited about this opportunity. Working on all of the marketing materials and so excited to be able to put my degree to GREAT use. Still 2.5 classes away from graduating but I'm getting there.
Blended Compass and Chaotic Compass came about at around the same time. We feel like both our moral compasses have been straight but life keeps tossing us stuff left and right. This year is definitely no different. Chaotic Compass is mine because I feel like our lives are constant chaos but we have our family to come back to. Blended Compass is his and represents the people in our life that have helped point us in a positive direction and for our blended family. We are so excited! So look out for another blog soon to see what all we are doing with Blended :)
